VON BONDIES:
Raw and Rare: CD
A live set, some BBC sessions (I believe) and a couple of other live tunes from a band that apparently wields a certain amount of respect in some circles, and it’s apparent here why: there’s some flat-out rockin’ trash rock here. With the exception of the last two tracks, the sound quality is great, the performance is inspired across the board and the songs themselves are great. Some mighty impressive work is in evidence here, and one hell of a listen, to boot.
