SLOBOT:
A Banner Year for Slaughter: CD
Atmospheric and moody and downright creepy, like a snake with bird feet, or a pig dressed like a milkman. No electric guitars or stuff like that; mostly just samples (vocal and non-vocal), assembled by three obvious craftsmen for maximum ambient effect. Included is a short movie where a guy with a sack on his head runs around in the woods, gets chased by a car and shoots a gun. Don’t know what it’s supposed to be about, but it’s a perfect foil for the nature of the music.
