 | Razorcake will send you one free issue if you ask your librarian if they would carry Razorcake in their stacks. (This offer is good for both traditional libraries and independent libraries.) To get the free issue, you must send us the librarian's name and email and the library's postal address. We will then contact them directly and donate a subscription to them. U.S. libraries only, due to postage. | |

RAPID LOSS:
A Dark Place: EP
Hectic, no-frills hardcore punk from these guys. It’s fast, abrasive, and urgent in the delivery with a vocalist who sounds a smidge like Jake Filth (which gives the songs an extra grit). Songs like “Negative Disease,” “Self Inflicted,” and “Complete Wreck” are rippers, grabbing my attention from all else. I anticipate future releases to be cranked the hell up. Naysayers may decry this stuff as “more generic hardcore” as they tug their paltry puds, but if the music has guts who gives a fuck if it’s breaking new ground? When it comes to music, I’m looking to go off, and this does just fine.
