MADISON BLOODBATH:
Gittin’ Loose with...: CD
Punk played with a country twang, or country played with punk ferocity. Either way, they do a good job of it. Tuneful, driving, and solid. These guys really hit their stride mid way through this disc with songs like “Pick Axe,” “Prom Night at the Burn Clinic,” and the piano-driven “Oh, The Places You’ll Stay.” A lot of broken hearts and alcohol consumption going on, along with some soul searching.
