I’d heard great stuff about this band and had missed them when they came to New York the summer before, so I’m glad I got this. It’s a little hard to put my finger on, but it reminds me of a.) Some of the different but cool alternative rock bands I’d hear on the radio when I was a kid, for that roughly a year period when you’d hear cool stuff, and b.) It kind of reminds me of ALL/some Cruz Records influence. Only, they don’t beat you over the head with it, like every other band that’s influenced by Cruz Records. –Joe Evans III (Heart of the Lakes)
