No Peace on Earth, No Rest in Hell: CD
Even if the music is looser and not as manic as their ‘80s incarnation, and Ron’s vocals are missed, the latest effort from this venerable L.A. hardcore group is a strong one, with topical lyrics that aren’t afraid to direct its ire at specific people and subjects rather than deal in hollow generalities. Nice to hear the snippet of the Germs off “Rodney on the Roq,” that was tacked onto the end, too.
