 | Razorcake will send you one free issue if you ask your librarian if they would carry Razorcake in their stacks. (This offer is good for both traditional libraries and independent libraries.) To get the free issue, you must send us the librarian's name and email and the library's postal address. We will then contact them directly and donate a subscription to them. DEAD END KIDS:
I’m So Bored With the U.K.: CD
Pretty generic ‘70s influenced punk. The promo sheet says they are an “incredibly important band.” What does that even mean? Maybe Paul Robeson or Woody Guthrie or Minor Threat were “incredibly important,” helping create and sustain political culture and build community, but this? This is just music, dumb and fun, the way this kind of music should be. Unfortunately, this just isn’t fun or catchy enough. If this were a cereal, it’d be unfrosted Mini-Wheats. Yawn.
