The saviors of pop-drenched punk recorded four songs during their Buttonsmasher sessions, which are actually covers of pre-Copyrights tunes of the members’ previous bands. This shit is top notch. If you get asked what you want for your birthday, you better put The Copyrights discography at the top of your list. And for those of you who have no idea what a record player is, this slab comes with a neat little CD of the same songs along with a poster and lyric sheet. Muy fantastico!! Oh, and dude... Red Scare will be putting out a brand-new full-length by these guys in early 2007. Happy early birthday!
