BLEW-UP!:
Self-titled: 7"
This French 7” comes in a beautiful silk-screened sleeve. That’s where the fun stops. Blew-up is an almost unlistenable, pretentious garage punk band with a U.S. blues influence. The lyrics are in English and it plays like what I’d expect some of the worst demos that get rejected by Goner Records sound like. I’ve never had ringworm, but I bet it’s less irritating than this three-song 7”.
