Weekly Video Roundup for 9/2/2012
featuring Horror Squad, Bloody Mess, Tenement, and This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb
By Candice Tobin Sunday, September 02 2012
This week's video post is truly America-sized: XXL, tearing at the seams, overstuffed with more punk rock than you may be able to handle. There happened to be an overabundance of amazing shows in the last week, including several pre and pre-pre Awesome Fest lineups so awesome I may pass out just from the sheer excitement of putting this post together. So let's not get bogged down with superfluous things like words and just get right to the damn music.
Bloody Mess, in Bloomington IN, getting silly with a Frankenstein's monster mask.
At Old Towne Pub, Pasadena: Horror Squad with a new ripper called "Cosmic Sans, Motherfucker"
Gentlemen Prefer Blood
At Big Cheese in Riverside, CA:
Worthwhile Way
Dan Padilla playing "Never Learned Algebra" off their new album, Sports Fans.
Lipstick Homicide
At VLHS in Pomona:
Treasure Fleet
Tenement
Battle Flask
And finally, This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, playing their first show in 4 YEARS!
There's plenty more where all of this came from, if somehow all that didn't rock your face right off.
