Ahhh, baseball: the scourge of my existence. I love watching baseball so much that I use it as an excuse not to do other things. I’ll think to myself, “Yeah, I’m going to clean my apartment today,” or, “Gee, I’ll get my zine reviews done without waiting until the last minute,” but then I’ll turn on the TV and end up watching baseball for four hours and I’ve accomplished absolutely nothing. Just between you and me, I might take it a little too seriously, like when the Yankees come from behind to win, I mutter to myself about how the other team is a bunch of fucking retards and how they’re a pathetic excuse for a franchise and how they’d have trouble beating a Triple A team, even though I know it’s not their fault that the Yankees have a two hundred gazillion dollar payroll and put their roster together like housewives shopping at their neighborhood grocery store. And what’s with Roger Clemens bitching about how if he can’t go into the Hall of Fame as a Yankee, he’s not going in at all. It’s like, if you love the Yankees so much, why don’t you fucking play for the Yankees anymore, you wiener? What was I talking about? Oh, yeah, the new issue of Zisk.
