 | Razorcake will send you one free issue if you ask your librarian if they would carry Razorcake in their stacks. (This offer is good for both traditional libraries and independent libraries.) To get the free issue, you must send us the librarian's name and email and the library's postal address. We will then contact them directly and donate a subscription to them. U.S. libraries only, due to postage. | |

Attention Members of the Punk Community in Colorado
A solicitation.
By Staff Tuesday, May 03 2011
I am a doctoral student in Curriculum & Instruction in the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver and would like to invite you participate in research project that explores how the independent and underground punk scene has engaged individuals in their own education. I plan to develop this project into my doctoral dissertation which will explore how social/cultural movements can function much like schools. I am interested in examining how involvement and participation in the punk scene may increase intellectual development and connect people to community in much the same way as the conventional K-12 classroom experience attempts. If you are willing to participate in an intensive interview that would last between 30-75 minutes and you live in the Denver/Front Range area, please contact Rebekah Cordova at rebekah@teachandlead.org or call me at 303-246-4331.
