Twenty-Five Razorcakes for Only $25
(Same Issue)
By Todd Taylor

That’s right, mathy. That’s 100 cents per issue.

Comic Reviews From Issue #43
Stolen from ''No Longer Lost in the Supermarket''
By Gary Hornberger

Okay, this little book seemed doomed from the start.

DVD Reviews From Issue #43
Do you really think your lizard likes you?
By Staff

In other words, it is a white trash man-beast bacchanalia, a testicular fantasy land dreamt to life by rutting, beer-bellied slobs in executioner’s hoods.

Book Reviews From Issue #43
Words are like soldiers in the fight for your mind. And today is their judgement
By Todd Taylor

Can someone please explain when Pearl Jam became a punk band?

Fuck Off T-Shirts Are Back
Yellow ink for the second pressing.
By Staff

Unfolded, they look like gibberish, but fold it horizonal-like, and man-o-man, you got's yourself some profanity.

Zine Reviews From Issue #43
Dude, where'd you get your long stapler?
By Staff

That’s right, the entire zine is a collection of short stories documenting the war between zombies and punks.

Record Reviews From Issue #43
4 of 4
By Staff

The band’s name is in this prickly font, as if when you simply think the name it’s like having a sea urchin inside your head.

We’re Fashion Retards, But… T-Shirts Are an International Language
By Staff

If you’d like to own a shirt that looks like gibberish, but folds into “FUCK OFF”, we’ve got your number, right here:

April's 7'' of the Month
Shang-A-Lang: Summertime (Dirt Cult/Let's Pretend)
By Daryl Gussin

This 7" contains four songs of poppy punk that's full of that golden, southwest desert distortion that we all love so much.

Record Reviews From Issue #43

FANASTIC AMAZING TRIVIA FACT: I was told by Germans that the way the umlaut works is that you make your mouth into the shape of an “e” sound, then you say the vowel sound ((which won’t be “e”)) with your mouth still in the “e” shape. Regardless of whether or not this is actually correct, it should provide the applicant with hours of fun.

New I Heart Beer And Records Shirts!
New shirt, same classic past time.
By Staff

You may have gotten the button for free, but now we have the shirts.

Records Reviews From Issue #43

Some records are so intense, so relentlessly dark, that you can’t get the drugs inside of you fast enough when you put it on.

Records Reviews From Issue #43

By Staff

If this were a cereal, it’d be Total. But some people love Total. I do not.

Razorcake #43 Issue Preview
7.1666 Years of Fucking Up.
By Staff

We’d make an oldies joke, but we’ll focus on the years of putting out great records instead.

Los Angeles! Lead Guitarist Needed!
For punk band: The Ignorant.
By Staff

The Ignorant is looking for a dedicated lead guitarist that wears tight pants, can practice 4 times a week and can tour.

Comic Reviews From #42
It’s strange, the power a book that contains no words can have.
By Gary Hornberger

Forty squares of some of the most solemn faces I’ve ever seen, with the occasional ever-so slim trace of a smile.

DVD Reviews From #42
Stop looking at yourself in the reflection.
By Staff

Watching this DVD, I didn’t get the feeling that much consideration was given to making these documentaries interesting and relevant to the audience.

Book Reviews From #42
No jackass, they're not book reports.
By Staff

Within the story, there are talking dogs, gay angels, resurrected homeless men, cyber-psychic lesbians, bikers that turn water into wine, a woman who turns ash into attack-birds, invisible Korean convenience store owners, and more.

Record Reviews From #42, Part 3 of 3
The ocean at last, the ocean at last.
By Staff

Disconnection from the stinky carnival of LAME that late ‘80s punk had become.

February 7'' of the Month
Measure (SA): Historical Fiction
By Daryl Gussin

This band is just waiting for you to get in there and become a fan, and it’s too good not to.

Record Reviews From #42, Part 2 of 3
Let the fever settle in.
By Staff

Side two is an actual track—as in it’s cut into the record—of complete silence. I liked the second side better.

Record Reviews From #42, Part 1 of 3
The trilogy begins...
By Staff

A glammy version of Nine Inch Nails meets Linkin Park playing the cosmetics isle of Rite Aid.

Zine Reviews From #42
Exit the unknown, enter the confusion.
By Staff

It is short, thrown together, and seems uninspired. It left me wondering why it was made.

Don’t ask why or how, but if you’ve ever thought of buying a Gorsky Press book – including books by Razorcake contributors Ben Snakepit, Sean Carswell, Jim Ruland, Jennifer Whiteford, and Todd Taylor – now would be a great time.
